Boring and unproductive

So, holiday. I love holidays and always anxiously counting my working/college days for it. But every time I'll end up getting bored at home. Sleep, eat, watch TV, anime, game, yea... Totally unproductive.
So, just like all my regular "holidays", was rotting at home today as well. Watched some animes; Bakemonogatari ep13, Katanagatari ep1 and Broken Blade (aka Break Blade) ep 1 & 2. Of course, all 3 were great but unfortunately, didn't have the complete series for any of them. So went online and started looking for the remaining episodes.
LOL. Not laugh out loud or "lawl" but League of Legends. Been playing that as well. Listening to some music (yea, coz I just bought a new pair of headphones)... and there goes my friday ;)
Well, it's not to say that I haven't plan anything for my holidays. Already have a planned trip to Europe - London, Paris, Rome Venice, next week. Was also gonna catch up with some friends but it seems harder to have a get together once everyone started working. Would have been cool if we could get together and go somewhere for a vacation or road trip.

My new headphones

Just bought a new set of headphones yesterday. Audio Technica ATH-SJ3. Looks nice, sounds nice and feels nice for its price :)
Got it from Jaben Malaysia at Subang Jaya. After some recommendations and sound-testing, I've decided to get this.
There were 2 colors available. White and Black. I'm tempted to get the white one at first; it looks clean and nice. But the thought that it will definitely go yellowish/brown after sometime held me back. So I decided to get the black one instead. Looks cool :)

Heard a new song on My FM when I was buying my lunch. 没有如果 (mei you ru guo) by Fish Leong. Yeesssssssssss. I'm damn excited. So I went home and quickly search for any news, and found out that she'll be releasing a new album on January 16 - 静茹&情歌-别再为他流泪 (Fall in Love & Songs).
Can't wait for it to be released. :P

Its the Sharp Aquos 32 inch LCD TV. Well, looking at the way my cabinet is, it couldn't fit anything larger than a 32. :p

A new year, a new beginning? Quite possibly so. Its the year where I'll be entering a new stage of life (hopefully) i.e. the working life~ Yup, and not just me, but also many of my friends and my brother as well. Encounter!

"A guy stole something from a lady", the man told us, as he walks hurriedly away. Huh? What? So being the curious human being as we are, we followed him to see what happened. As we caught up to him, he asked whether we saw a guy wearing a white T-shirt running by? Then we learned that he was chasing after a thief he stole a purse from a lady. We browse around, then a car stopped a few metres in front of us, and quickly point towards a direction several times. Like sharp knives our eyes gazed at that direction and spotted a schoolboy, 17 year old or so. He saw us; stunned for a second. "That's him!" shouted the man. We ran towards him (being more a busybody than actually intentioning to subdue him. haha xD). He paniced, and run, as fast as he could, into the nearest supermarket - Giant Bukit Tinggi. As he stood at the entrance, he tried to look back, to see if anyone is still chasing. To his horror, 4 to 5 people were at his back! He ran inside the mall. We followed, but was late by 5-10 seconds. As we entered... lost! We can't find him. We searched the mall 2 rounds, asking some passerbys if they saw anyone by that description. Failed. We informed the Giant authority/security people. Again we searched the mall for a round and then decided to check the toilet.

2 doors were closed out of the 3 cubicles. No one else was there. So we waited for a moment. The first one, came out a guy not who we were searching for. Then the other door opened. A malay guy, white T-Shirt, school pants. I can't be mistaken. Its him! But I couldn't be certain. I was afraid I accused a wrong person. My friend quickly enters the same toilet cubicle (or what do you call it -.- whatever la), and search the water tank and surroundings. At the same time, the guy, did a very stupid thing in the midst of a panic in my opinion - he was kind of stunned to see us waiting outside, but wanted to act as if he had nothing to do with it. So he unzipped his pants, and wanted to pee at the toilet stand. Mind you, HE JUST CAME OUT FROM THE TOILET CUBICLE!!!! At that time, my friend came out from the cubicle and produced the stolen purse!! Bingo! The money were not in there anymore. Of course, he denied it was him. He said he don't know anything about it. He said before him, another guy came out from the same cubicle. He said the guy was also wearing a white T-Shirt, with schoolpants. He said the other guy was also a malay. He said the back of the shirt of that guy has a "2008".

And the man, who earlier informed us of the theft said to bring him to the victim, the lady. To let her identify the guy. 5 or 6 guys (including me) escorted the malay schoolkid to meet the victim, just outside the mall. My, how happy was the lady when we found her purse! Yes, the money was not in the purse anymore. I didn't quite heard what the guard said to the "thief" we caught, but he handed over the money from his pocket to the lady. He said he picked it up in the toilet. (WTF! Who would believe that fairy tale!). But the biggest joke of the day is this - The victim, that lady said... "I'm not sure is him. The thief just ran past me from my side. I didnt see him. I think he's abit taller. I don't think its him."

Decided to start playing back dota, so I reinstalled Warcraft III: TFT and try to look for the private server i used to play at - Blueserver. And again, the sponsors left them :p, therefore they have to find a new sponsor. This time its UCPro.my. They'll be using this name instead of Blueserver already. Sad but, oh well... as long as the same qualities are there. Garena? Sux, many leavers and always lag.

Haihz, and I still have so many stuffs undone. There's the ICSA assignment which I havent even start and the CPC which I've only read 2 chapters, and the subject is supposed to end by this week. Oh well...

Life on the fast lane?

"Tingkat satu, Pintu 6" ... "Sila ambil nombor giliran anda ... 350"... tick... tok... tick... tok... (20 minutes passed)... and the 350 figure came up at the screen to counter 14. Walked up to the counter. "IC and photo?" So I hand it to her. Took a second to search from the computer: "30, lintang patani ... right? You have to pay a fine of RM20". zeet... zeet... zeet(printing sound)... clack(cutting sound). And then she put together the slip of 'printed paper' and my photo and a ready-for-lamination-plastic-in-card-sized.... and ta da. My new driving license is done. The whole process took less than 60 seconds. Good job JPJ! :)

Fast Track

Ever wonder where the patrol cars are going when you see them on the highway? Maybe no one does, but I'd always thought they were just going back to their HQ. So they won't really bother you if you were speeding on the highway, passing the red light, didn't wear safety belt, talking on the phone.... Ok, I was so wrong, when a patrol car stopped me at the federal highway when I was on my way delivering some hampers and... on the phone as well. They must have really good eyesight, able to spot me amidst all the other cars and the hampers blocking almost all the windows.

Anyway, there's this one thing about Malaysian road traffic summons. We all know how slow government servants work, in this bureaucratic system. Things that only needs 15 minutes time will take a week for them to be done. However, Malaysian cultured our ever busy traffic users and the patrols a fast track system. Much like that in the UK courts, where they have the fast track system for small/minor cases. Not only do we save our time by settling the 'case' on the spot, we are also given a 'discount' when we do it on the spot. Expedient Justice! I love Malaysia!

(Oh, be it lucky or otherwise, its at that time I noticed I lost my driving license when I was asked to produce it... sigh... hopefully it'll pop out, somewhere, like how my academic certs did the other day when I thought I lost them as well...)

Quit cabal?

I started playing in... early May.. a few days before my second paper. Its been kind of a trend/habit that I would try out/play online games during my finals... this habit dated way back during my upper secondary years.
Anyway, congratulations, Cabal, you are the game that lasted the longest in one continuous stretch for me - closing in to 5 months. Too bad, your small world and environment easily bore me, although everything else was nice.

Ah, the usual Tuesday Maintenance. And so I was casually browsing the forum and read the Maintenance thread of 9/9/08. And...

This Server Maintenance will include:

- Checking on the Server status
- Server Restart
- 32 Channels be changed to 24 channels (War channel = Channel 24)
[The change in the number of channels is to build up and strengthen the CABAL community.]

WTF! my favourite channel 31 is gone! Just like that. Without a single warning beforehand... Wooo... T-T. Bye bye my channel 31 friends... hopefully we'll meet back in a same channel after this update... Freedom and MalaikatMaut members. Buh bye~

Setia Eco Park

What do you get with three bored guys? An odd outing, we went to the Setia Eco Park Show Houses and have a look at their Mini Banglos...

All of these are 3 storeys "Banglos". And like we all know, Banglos are only affordable by the rich; And like we all know, rich people are luxurious, and like what we DON'T know... they have a private lift in a 3 storey house... = ="

Oh how can we forget the private Sauna room!!

The designers have this garden in the air theme apparent in all the Show houses we saw. I'd like the concept, but wouldn't it be really hard to maintain? Well, maybe they doesn't, like they say, any problems money can solve is not a problem at all... atleast for the rich guys! :

Gardens in the air and rivers in the house. Apparent in all the Show houses are canals and pools in and outside the houses (of course, even in the "floating gardens" of the house).

Amazing... The best part is that its a place bordering Meru, Klang and Shah Alam.
I didn't know Klang has tHat many rich people...

Babylon AD!?

Just came out from the cinema after watching Babylon AD. My comment? It sucks. I didn't understand what was happening in the whole show, or more like what the director/scriptwriter is trying to convey here. They are trying to make a "Transporter" type of show, with the "Save the world" theme, added in a little of "Minority Report" feel and "I, Robot" ideas. The conclusion is? a wtfbbq show with no plot, no story, no ending. Really potong stim! Anyone watched the show and feels like they understand, please enlighten me as to wtf is going on.
Wasted Rm10 like that... Might as well sit in front of the comp and watch my Veladrix punching!!

Brickfields Asia College

Went to Brickfields today. Since a group of friends are going, so I thought I'd just tag along. After listening to the consultant, I'd probably be signing up for Brickfields now. Some of the reasons:
- Produced consistent CLP results over the years
- Same team of lecturers over the years
- Quality notes(???)
- The good structure scheme of CLP + ICSA + LLM
- and... I'm kind of bored with ATC's environment after 3 years there

I'd be taking ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) together with my CLP since the whole course of ICSA takes only about a month, and complements my degree if I ever wanted to go corporate or in-house.

DotA new hero!?

I start picking up DotA back yesterday (of course I feed like there's no tmr)... The version now is 6.54b. 8 hours of DotA enough to give me a headache... and I thought I was seeing things when suddenly the AR game gave me this:

3 years. A lot has happened... I wish! Nay, Not much have happened for the past 3 years, I'm still the same person as before - all play and no work siu yeh chai! And playing the same game over and over and over and over again. DotA la, CS la, Cabal!!!! and now DotA again (!?).
Anyway, I get to GRADUATE!!! YES!! Convo's on early December. Don't know the exact date yet. Congratulations to all those who passed with me. Special thanks to the lecturers at ATC! Now I get a title to my name:
